Go Set a Watchman - Harper Lee

Reading this book without ever having read To Kill A Mockingbird. *gasp* I know, I know. I should be ashamed. I read about half of TKAM back in junior high and never could get into it. I'm going to try it again and actually finish, and probably soon at that.

I'm going into Watchman fully aware of the "differences" in the characters and motivations between the two novels. I'm hoping since I'm able to read this novel without the staggeringly high expectations set by Harper's classic novel being a factor, I'll be able to write my review without bias. I won't be let down if this book doesn't measure up because I won't know. I'll be judging it on its merits alone.

Reading them in this order might be a mistake, but it'll be my mistake. Here goes nothing....
